Head Wrap Crochet Pattern (Free!)

This is the head wrap pattern I developed as a base for our Loopy Flower. It's a basic pattern you can make and embellish with any crocheted accent you'd like. I plan on making a bunch of these for my friends and family as gifts this holiday season. Everybody act surprised!

Much thanks to my gorgeous friend Suzzy for being my guinea pig and modeling the brown and aqua version! As payment she got gifted the finished product, and she got to choose the color scheme. Did I mention aqua is her favorite color?

You will need:
H (5.00mm) hook
A worsted weight yarn. I used Caron Simply Soft (in Chocolate) for the brown and aqua pictured above, and for the aqua and yellow version I used Peaches'n'Creme 100% cotton yarn (in Bright Aqua and Daffodil Daze).

  1. I love these! Great instructions and a beautiful outcome. I really love the brown with the pop of aqua!

Seeing these makes me wish I had paid more attention to my Bubbi when she was teaching me to crochet! Never too old to start again :) Especially bed bound!
Thanks for the great information <3

  3. My daughter wanted one of these. I tried this today. Goes quickly. You can vary the look just by stitching in front loops, back loops or full stitch., GREAT! she found some other patterns that seem a bit more complicated but I'll give them a try.
