Cinnamon Sugar Popcorn

This delicious Cinnamon Sugar Popcorn recipe was born out of my intense sugary carb cravings, and I'm not ashamed to admit it!

Although my (Jessica's) family does not have a gluten intolerance, we have gotten to the point where we eat about 75% gluten free. This does make it difficult when I start having massive cravings for sweet, bread-y treats! Instead of gorging myself on cookies (which is what I would like to do) I made this popcorn and it was an instant hit with all ages. Our girls especially just went crazy!

So without further ado...

Cinnamon Sugar Popcorn

Ingredients:
4-6 cups popped popcorn (plain!)
1 1/2 Tbsp canola oil
2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 Tbsp sugar

1. Pour your canola oil over the popped popcorn. Gently toss to cover evenly.

2. In a seporate bowl, mix your cinnamon and sugar until combined.

3. Pour over your popcorn, tossing to evenly coat each piece with cinnamon sugar

Stuff your face!

I hope you enjoy this quick and easy recipe, my family and I have been eating it non stop lately. It's a wonderful sweet treat without too many calories, and it helps me kick the cookie cravings!

  6. I love good cheap treats I can make when I get that awful urge to eat at night. No money for goodies so have to find other ways to satisfy the naughty cravings I get. For some reason when I'm on my pc at night I get the munchies something awful so a snack I can have that's cheap is great. We have an air popper so that will be handy. Glad you shared this snack idea. Happy Summer
